  • WHAT IS NEWBRIDGE house of music?

Newbridge House of Music is an online music school which started in Bristol, UK. We moved online only in 2022 following a successful two years online during the pandemic. We saw students playing and understanding level improve a lot during these two years and found it to be a great way to learn. As well as being flexible to be able to learn wherever you are in the world.

We teach one-to-one online music lessons. Head to our home page which has links to all of the lessons. 

 

  • WHAT STANDARD DO I HAVE TO BE TO TAKE LESSONS?

Everyone is welcome, whether you haven't ever picked up a guitar, or you have playing for years and need some direction. We can cater for anyone!

 

  • WHAT AGES DO YOU TEACH?

We teach all ages from 6 upwards. But the main requirement is enthusiasm to learn.

 

  • WHERE ARE THE LESSONS HELD?

Lessons are taught online, we mainly use Skype, but also FaceTime, Zoom, Whereby and Whatsapp can be used if required.

 

  • WHEN DO YOU TEACH?

We teach 5 days a week! Monday-Friday, from 11am to 8pm. Lessons are flexible to the student and the tutor. We understand that everyone's schedule changes, so you will work together with your tutor to find the best time for you! 

 

  • HOW MUCH ARE LESSONS AND HOW DO I PAY?

All lessons are £25 per hour, however you can have 30 minutes for £12.50 or 45 minutes for £18.75 etc. Payment can be made via a simple bank transfer.

  • WHAT IF I MISS A LESSON?

It is important to let us know as soon as you are aware that you can't make a lesson. It is sometimes possible to rearrange for a different day, however we are busy so please try and make your set lesson time. A full lesson charge is applicable if you cancel 24 hours before a lesson or if you don’t let your teacher know.

 

  • WHAT INSTRUMENT DO I BUY?

We are always happy to help you choose the right instrument. Please get in touch and we can guide you through which ones to go for.
