James has been songwriting since he was a teenager. Once he started working in his first band he realised that writing songs is a great way of becoming a better musician. James usually song-writes starting from his guitar and can teach you how to write and develop melodies and arrangements, where to find inspiration (and how to use it), and tricks to improve your songs.
James' has co-written many songs with his band Wildflowers, some of which (100 Personalities and Chemistry) have been featured on the BBC Radio 2 Playlist and gained recognition in the International Songwriting Competition.
Kit has been songwriting all her life and is a lyrical master. She has written many of her own songs as well as been in many bands along the way of all genres. She can teach you how to develop lyrical ideas and to get your songs to the next level.

TIMETABLE
Lessons are flexible to the student. If you need the same day each week or need to change it up, it's no problem! We can work out a timetable that fits around you and your busy lifestyle.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Lessons are taught online, so you will need the basic set up of either a laptop, or tablet with a camera. You may also want to have either headphones or speakers to make it easier to hear (but that isn’t essential). Simply set up around where you play, and we’re good to go!
Prepare any song ideas you have, be it on a laptop, phone or simply written in a notebook.
That’s it! It’s that simple. Get in touch via the form below and we will get in touch with you.
